Making Schedule

You've tasted how delicious our Ukrainian food is...do you want to learn how we make it? Here are our upcoming making dates for both perogies and cabbage rolls.

Perogies (Pyrohy or Varenyky)

Upcoming Days: February 1, 2, & 3, 2022

Day 1 & 2 - Preparation (Tuesday at 1:00pm & Wednesday at 9:00am)

  • Peel, cut & boil potatoes
  • Cube cheese
  • Prepare potato & cheese mixture
  • Roll potato & cheese balls
  • Make dough
  • Clean up

Day 3 - Pinching (Thursday at 9:00am)

  • Run dough through rolling machine
  • Cut circles
  • Pinch perogies
  • Put perogies in freezers
  • Clean up

Cabbage Rolls (Holubtsi)

Upcoming Days: March 8 & 9, 2022

Day 1 - Preparation (Wednesday at 9:00am)

  • Core & rinse cabbage
  • Measure, rinse, & prepare rice in roasters for cooking
  • Cook meat
  • Separate & trim leaves from cabbage heads
  • Combine meat, rice, & spices for filling
  • Clean up

Day 2 - Rolling (Thursday at 9:00am)

  • Assemble/roll cabbage rolls
  • Prepare boards for freezers
  • Put cabbage rolls in freezers
  • Clean up
