The Welcome Centre. Shelter for Women and Families is an emergency shelter for women and families experiencing homelessness and related challenges. They are non-profit organization which has worked within the Windsor-Essex community since 1990 in providing a safe and inclusive environment for women and their families who find themselves in distress. Their programs include emergency shelter, Housing support, family support, harm reduction, and medical and food services among others.
